Summary

The long-term vision is shared civic infrastructure for democratic participation across borders. Later releases are intended to add accounts, proposals, deliberation, voting, transparent administration, and progressively distributed authority.

Vision

The Global Experiment explores whether democratic participation can become more inclusive, continuous, transparent, and accountable at a global scale. The intended platform connects public discussion, collective decision-making, administration, and economic participation within one open framework.

Participation

Later versions are intended to allow participants to create accounts, submit ideas, consider different perspectives, revise proposals, and vote on decisions. Results should explain who participated, how a decision was reached, and what the available data can and cannot represent.

Governance

The intended direction is to replace temporary concentrated authority with published rules, reviewable administrative actions, and progressively distributed responsibilities. This direction is an objective rather than a description of capabilities currently available.

Privacy and openness

Future participation should preserve meaningful privacy and give people control over what information becomes public. Core software, governance rules, financial records, decisions, and development work are intended to remain inspectable so that the system can be scrutinised, reused, and improved.

Next product phase

The next phase is expected to move from a public information website to the first interactive platform. Priorities include secure account foundations, participant input, proposal and review workflows, transparent administrative history, tested moderation, and mechanisms that reduce reliance on a root administrator.

Conditions

Future features should be introduced only when their security, privacy, accessibility, legal, operational, and governance requirements are sufficiently defined and tested. Release names and dates are not commitments until the corresponding scope has been approved.

Role of version 0.1

Version 0.1 provides the public and operational foundation from which the interactive platform can be developed. Its records, feedback, and technical lessons inform later decisions without predetermining them.
